Brenda Black Swim Schools Terms and Conditions

Contract Duration: The swim school contract, once signed, is valid for the full year. Fees are payable accordingly. If you cancel the contract, 30 days written notice must be given, and cancellation will be valid from the following month.

Payments: Fees are payable in advance by the 1st of each month. A R120.00 penalty fee will be charged for late payments. Fees must be paid regardless of the swimmer's absence.

Absenteeism: If a swimmer is absent, they will forfeit that lesson. No "catch-up" lessons are provided.

Swimming Schedule: Swimmers are expected to keep to their allocated swimming days and times. Time slots and days will be communicated accordingly.

Public Holidays & Closures: The swim school is closed on all public holidays. Lessons are conducted indoors in a heated pool, except during severe cold fronts or lightning, when dry land swimming drills are taught. The swim school takes a holiday in July and re-opens in August annually.

Personal Property: All personal belongings must be marked clearly with the swimmer's name and surname. The swim school is not responsible for lost items that are not marked.

General Consent: By signing this form, you consent to your child participating in school activities and events (lessons, dryland exercises, parties, and awards). You also consent to your child being transported to and from the swim school by the provided transport service. You indemnify all staff, teachers, and BBSS Directors against any prejudice, loss, illness, or injury that may occur to your child during their time at the swim school or during transportation, unless caused by negligence by staff, teachers, or drivers.

Equipment Requirements: Swimmers must bring a drying towel, flip-flops, a full zip-up swimming costume, and a swim kit (kickboard and swim cap). These items are available at the swim school, except for flip-flops.

Family Packages: The swim school offers family packages for swimming lessons.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted all the above terms.
